The laboratory rotary evaporator is mainly used to continuously process a large number of volatile solvents under reduced pressure. It is an effective separation and purification reaction machine.
Operation step 1 of the real rotating evaporator: adjust the height up and down. For the manual lifting system, turn the hand wheel above the column, clockwise to rise, and counterclockwise to fall. During electric lifting, the bath rises by touching the rising key and falls by touching the falling key.
Operation step 2 of the rotary evaporator: the condenser has two external connectors for connecting the cooling water circulation, one side is connected with the water inlet, and the other side is connected with the water outlet. The lower the temperature of the condensate, the better. Then connect the vacuum connector to the vacuum pump.
Operation step 3 of rotating evaporator: before power on and starting up, first turn the speed regulating knob to stop, press the power switch indicator to light up, and then slowly rotate it to the required speed. Medium and low speeds are used for evaporation bottles with higher liters, and lower speeds are used for solutions with higher viscosity, and the solution amount should not exceed 50%.
