The rotary evaporator is usually used for vacuum distillation operation, so at the end of the experiment, the instrument should first be restored to the normal pressure state, then the rotary flask should be taken down to collect samples, the waste liquid collected in the receiver bottle should be disposed of, and finally the circulating condensate water and power supply should be turned off. If the rotary evaporator is not used for a long time, the circulating water in the condenser pipe needs to be drained to prevent blockage or crushing and damage of the condenser pipe due to ice expansion in low temperature weather.
