If the rotary evaporator wants to carry out high-efficiency concentration and purification, the working efficiency of the condenser must also be considered. Usually, the recirculating chiller is used to match the rotary evaporator for accelerated cooling.

When using the rotary evaporator, it is recommended to select a matching low-temperature coolant circulating pump according to the capacity of the rotary evaporator. Generally, if we use a 5L rotary evaporator, we recommend that we use a matching recirculating chiller of at least 10L to avoid slow cooling due to small capacity.


We usually set the temperature at -20 ℃ ~ -40 ℃. However, if the low temperature is set to -40 ℃ in the experiment, condensation will occur at the recovery part at the lower part of the condenser tube, which will affect the normal operation of the whole assembly. Therefore, when we use the rotary evaporator, we usually choose the matching lrecirculating chiller at -20 ℃. When selecting the capacity, the capacity should be larger than that of the rotary evaporator used as much as possible, so that even if the oil bath is used for high-temperature extraction at 200 ℃, the recirculating chiller can also help to complete the rapid cooling work.
