The Working Principle of Short Path Distillation
Short path molecular distillation is a technique for separating and purifying liquid mixtures, utilizing the differences between molecules to separate the components in the mixture. This technology can be used in fields such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing.
Short path molecular distillation utilizes the boiling point differences between different components to inject the mixture into the top of the distillation tower. In the distillation tower, the mixture is heated to begin vaporization. The vaporized mixture rises to the top of the distillation tower and comes into contact with the condenser at the top of the tower. The condenser cools the vaporized mixture into a liquid and collects it in a container.
